It's hard to write blogs! I mean, it's hard to find the time... for me anyway. I like to share though, so if I make a new year's resolution, maybe it's this!
Anyway - I have a good reason to. I'm off to MIX 08 in Las Vegas in March, and I'm speaking too. I've sat in the audience the last two years and often thought we had a lot to bring and this year we get the chance.
The session is called "Virgins, Spaceships and Hobnailed boots". A title I thought wouldn't make it through the censors, but it did!
The topic is really about Total Experience Design and looks at the discipline of Experience Design across digital and real world touchpoints. We're going to look at some very cool case studies (guess who from the title) of where experience is done well and talk to the people who did it. Then we're going to back this up with some tips, tools and approaches to experience planning and setting digital 'touch' strategies.
And.. we might have some goodies to give away too! And actually, they're pretty good! But more on that another day. Let's hope they MIX organisers book a big room! :)
Anyway - anything specific anyone wants to see covered, questions, or ideas on how to make it as interesting and useful as possible, just chime in!
More soon!
