Since I am the Recruitment Manager here at Conchango I thought it was about time I talked about recruitment, as they suggest in the laws of blogging you should always blog about something relevant to you.
In the last 3 months we have made 21 offers across our Business Consulting, Technical Consulting and Interactive Media teams. So as you can see I have been very busy, and loving it!
We have got continued expansion planned throughout 2007 due to increased demand so this is a really exciting time to join. We are winning new business with large blue chip clients (all names you will have heard of) and continually building relationships with clients we have a proven track record with (M&S, Chevron, Lloyds of London, HMV, Boots, Barclays etc...).
Our training department is going from strength to strength offering our Consultants even more training (Scrum, Consultancy skills, Negotiation skills, User stories, Technical training across all areas from .Net to BizTalk, Java to ISEB, Vista to WPF etc).
Other reasons to work for Conchango:
- We are a Microsoft Gold Partner in 7 competencies
- We provide solutions that are used by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide
- We produce products that are used by Microsoft themselves for product development (VSTS Scrum add-in)
- We advise MS on future directions so get really early product visibility (we are advising on the next version of SQL Server, codenamed katmai).
- We employ 5 MVPs
- MS use us in some of their pre-release projects (eg Vista)
- We are technology independent so develop the solution that is right for the client
- We have been voted Europe's Number 1 Design Agency for 2006
- We are committed to continous growth (luckily for me as that is why I am here)
- We only hire the best so you will be working with people you will be impressed with and can learn from (Jamie Thomson, Howard van Rooijen, John Rayner, Keni Barwick, Richard Wand, Rizwan Tayabali the list could go on...)
