I do not tend to post personal subjects on this blog, but I have spent some considerable time recently checking out areas in the south east of England to move to. We are rapidly outgrowing our typically small, modern terraced house within greater London and have decided to move a bit further out so we can obtain something more substantial.
Anyway, I stumbled across a very useful site called OnOneMap that utilises Google Maps, along with some feeds from various estate agents to provide a view of areas and where the actual houses are located on the map. I thought this was such a fantastic idea, I thought I would share it with anyone who happens to read this blog.
It was quite time consuming going through all the estate agent sites and then using Google Maps in the background to seach for where each property was located (if they even had the information available). This site puts it nicely all in one place, and also provides some other information about the local area. It seems it is a fairly new site and I am looking forward to see how it progresses in the future, and shall certainly be using it to assist my house purchase.
Now where was that lottery ticket...
