Keni Barwick - The Mobile Guy

rants and raves of all things Microsoft Windows Mobile - Moved to http://www.theMobileGuy.net

Windows Live Mobile (Upgrade to Pocket MSN)

One of the reasons why I first bought a Windows Mobile device was the MSN Messenger application.

It's an application that gets people attention I find...

Anyway it's getting a little old now; it hasn't been updated much since it was first released. Worse than that with some carriers it's not even on the ROM, Vodafone being one!

Now I'm not sure I buy into the "Messenger is a consumer application, the xxxx is a business phone" malarkey. But hey not to worry... It seems Microsoft have come to the rescue...

Windows Live Mobile is coming...

I found this (link) video of it at Mess.be... But today I they kindly passed us a couple of links to the BETA...

Link & Link  (as they say they will expire)

A review can be found here (link)

I have used it for a day now and I do like it... It's a little slow at times... But in my case as I'm using a Vodafone phone I didn't have it in the first place!!!

One thing I do love about it is the integration with the contacts... Presence within your Contact list!!!!

NOW THAT’S FUNKY!!!!

Best I make sure all my contacts have there IM address in their Outlook Contact.
