Something struck me this morning listening to the sports report on the radio - Martin O'Neil said "[As the manager] you can talk until you are blue in the face, it's what they do on the pitch that counts..."
How about using Scrum to manage a football team?...Get rid of the manager, let the team organise and motivate themselves, would it work?
- Team orientated
- Clearly defined objectives
- Agility to respond to different opposing team tactics, strengths & weaknesses
- Inspect & Adapt - "how could we improve our performance from the last one?"
